Vanessa and Tim - Married 27th October 2018 / Tantalus, Waiheke.

After a long winter, and a small amount of weddings I was itching to get back into the swing of things. This being my biggest wedding of 2018!

Vanessa attended a floral crown workshop I hosted, and not long after contacted me to do her wedding flowers. After a few phone calls and a coffee date we nailed the vision and palette for their day.

I loved the timeless look throughout the wedding with armfuls of olive tree from her parents property, it also tied in with the favours, of olive oil from the estate. I will not forget that driveway, after not turning the right way I was very much stuck! We had the groom & groomsmen trying to assist me with the photogpraher snaping away...  Vanessa was a pleasure to work with, and I loved talking about all elements of spring florals for the arch, tablescapes and of course the bouquets.

Wishing you guys all the best for your new chapter of married life, Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your day,

Renee x

Tom & Klaudia

Married 8th March 2018, Goldie Estate - Waiheke.

Klaudia writes "We met 8 years ago on March 6th, 2010 at an UpFM gig at Pt Chev Reserve. We had both finished our goon sacks, lost our friends and at that point Tom came up to me and said ‘hey let’s be loners together’. After a cheeky Facebook add, lots of texts and other nights out together Tom finally plucked up the courage to ask me to be his girlfriend and we have never looked back since. I love toms glowing green eyes, his caring nature, laid back approach to life and how he makes me feel safe and special every single day!"

Fast forward 8 years later and I was lucky enough to create their florals.

I don't think I have ever some across a more stunning couple, with a laid back style and a dream of a wedding. Goldie estate was their venue of choice, and though the weather didn't play along, you would not have known. I mean look at these photos!!

Thank you Guys, I loved everything about your day. x

Hamish & Anna Married 3rd March 2018 - St Margaret's Cafe, Karaka

In my new found profession, I have loved how old friends meet again. Anna and I met through mutual friends in our early 20's. We had a few summers together, and spent a lot of time in the 'girls' flat in Sandringham.

Hamish and Anna moved to London to give that a whirl, and once she returned I was so happy to have a old catch up and chin wag. Most of all - I was honored  when asked to do her florals. I created something 'down to earth'  but that was still big enough to have a WOW factor. Just like her but most of all it was classic. White and green combo - and look at it!! Beautiful really. Just like our friendship.

Thank you Anna & Hamish x

Anna Writes -"We met as teenagers (I was 14 and he was 16) down on the beach in Hahei where our families both have holiday places. After about 3.5 years of friendship we came out of the friend zone and became a couple. It’s been 12 years of love and laughter and having so much fun as we grow up together and are now married! We wouldn’t change a thing."

Ali and Penny Married 4th Feb 2018 - At Te Miro Woolshed, Cambridge

"Ali and I met in 2009 at a clubbing gig that he and his best mate produced back in our younger years. I knew from the moment I laid eyes on him that he was the one. And although was in a relationship, it wasn’t serious, and he felt the same way about me. Of course, nothing happened that night, or in the months that followed, until I had befriended his best friend and heard that his relationship had run its course. I immediately added him on Facebook and we began talking every night for hours. Within two weeks we were officially a couple, and 2 months after that we were living together. It is our 9 year anniversary this July, and we got married earlier this year. Though we have had our ups and downs, there has never been a moment’s doubt that he was my lobster."

Penny and I have known each other since we were age 5, and both grew up on farms in a small rural area called South Head. Though we had different journeys over the years we have always stayed in contact and of course I jumped at the chance for their boho wedding. It was all kinds of romantic.

Her brief was wild, with hints of blue and white with lots of greenery. I used thistle, scabiosa, loads of white dahlias, snap dragons and in the bridal some lovely delphs. I LOVE that Penny wanted a crown, and now its dried out hanging as a forver piece.

Thank you both for not only letting me create your wedding florals, but also to attend as a guest and watch the love story unfold!
